The day was devoid of color and happiness.
"Let’s find something fun to do," Bridget begged.
"Let’s go antiquing," her wife, Kate, suggested.
It was eerily quiet as they followed the river towards town.
Suddenly, a wormhole opened in front of them, but it was empty.
"Weird! Should we?" Bridget asked. Kate nodded then watched her step inside and realize it was a trap.
“No, Kate, please!”
The mouth of the gigantic snag worm slowly closed around Bridget.
“Thanks, lovely one! I didn’t think I’d ever get rid of that bore.”
The sun shone brightly as Kate continued towards town.
